Argo was good, but not THAT good.
This movie has won Ben Affleck several shiny trophies this year, plus it has Bryan Cranston (Walter White from Breaking Bad). So I decided to see it with my mom(Who is a fan of Ben Affleck, just a side note) on UK mother's day. I thought it was intense and gripping, But it did not live up to my expectations.
I liked the setting, the ominous feel and the nervousness mixed in with some quality jokes. But somewhere in the middle of the movie it lost my attention.
^I know they had to go for accuracy, but one or two of these characters were either unnecessary or needed more personality.
Even Ben Affleck's character needed a little more oomph. He seemed at most 2 dimensional.
Bryan Cranston was amazing as always and shined through the movie. Overall, I think it's good but definitely over hyped. Thanks Oscar!
